Who is Bad Dave?

About the tutor

Bad Dave is the creative persona of Anna Farrow, an artist based in Somerset transitioning into life as a full-time artist, sewist and teacher.

A Chelsea College of Art graduate, Anna has taught design at Wiltshire College, sold her first painting at 14, won the Mid-Somerset Prize for Poetry at 15, attended Central St Martin’s courses as an adult and is fortunate to have a talent for all things creative.

At Bad Dave all creativity and skill levels are celebrated. Our goal is for you to leave our classes feeling more informed, more confident and upbeat after a fun session.

No, really, who is Bad Dave?

Bad Dave is George the Indian Palm Squirrel’s relative. We were in Delhi on a dream holiday and this little ball of fluff with a long tail started following us. He was named George (as in “I will name him George, and I will hug him and pet him and squeeze him”). Then came Elvis, Bad Dave and the names got more interesting from there onwards. The name Bad Dave stuck.
