A delicate marine worm hand drawn in pen and ink.
This is another type of tube worm, but this time with a chunkier tale with additional bobbles and textures on its tail, the bit of it that lives undergrrond. Its fronds are pushed out into the water to catch food.
Marine worms are 60 million year old creatures that still survive to this day. There are 28,000 known species with new ones still being discovered, some scientists estimate a possible 100,000 species exist. They are little miracles capable of surviving many different environments including some some varieties that live on volcano edges and can survive 105°C.

Bad Dave Says
Marine worms are extraordinary! Many are beautiful, yet even the ugly ones can do amazing things, like glow different colours under UV light.
This worm may not be traditionally beautiful, but it's bumps and bobbles create character.
