Underwater Love Series.

Swipe is the epitome of Bad Dave. People think sharks are all bad, so swipe left to stay away. Other people think sharks are ok, it's the just the packaging they come in that makes them seem scary.

Made from watercolour washes on 250gsm watercolour paper, cut with die punches and hand finished with pen and ink. 

I had an idea of making collages from painted watercolour paper, noting light and shade, depth and foreground. I also stared to use oyster shells, direct from the kitchen where we had oysters overlooking the beach at Porlock Weir, Somerset.  Then I learned about Mary Delaney. A lady who stole my genius ideas when she was around back in the 1700's...
