Prints & Commissions

Prints

  1. Every piece of art created by Bad Dave will be signed in some capacity (Prints will be signed, mugs and cards will have Bad Dave’s web address) if you’re unhappy with where the signature is unfortunately we cannot supply another piece. 
  2. Prints are not ‘Exact’ replicas of original pieces of artwork. All efforts are made to match the original during the printing process. Note that a colour you see on line will differ slightly from the finished article due to factors such as your screen resolution or screen colour balancing.
  3. Limited Editions prints are defined by specific size, paper quality and finish criteria, will be hand signed and numbered; once the limit is reached, no further prints of those specific criteria will be created.
  4. Bad Dave will not accept any request to adjust, customise or change an original.

  2. Bad Dave reserves the right to refuse any request on the grounds of but not limited to: backlog of work, the request is off brand or could damage the brand.

Copyright

  1. We take the protection of our copyright very seriously. If we discover that you haven used our copyright materials in contravention of these terms & conditions we may bring legal proceedings against you, seeking monetary damages and/or an injunction to stop you using those materials, You could also be ordered to pay legal costs.
  2. All artwork and content (pictures & text) on Bad Dave Art & Illustration (aka Bad Dave, Bad_Dave_Art) are the sole property of Bad Dave Art & Illustration and are legally protected by UK and International copyright laws.
  3. Under no circumstances may you download, reproduce (in full or part), publish or distribute elsewhere, in any medium, any of the images for commercial purposes without proper and prior written permission from Anna Farrow, the artist.
  4. The copyright and other intellectual property rights on this website and the material on our website are reserved, this includes but is not limited to works posted on social media accounts ei: Facebook, twitter, Instagram and other forms of media under the Bad Dave Art & Illustration brand
  5. Unauthorised duplication or use for commercial purposes is prohibited by the Copyright Law and Bad Dave will take legal action.
  6. Bad Dave Art & Illustration retains all of the copyrights to all artwork on this side, regardless of whether or not the original image has been sold.
  7.  Should you wish to use an image for commercial purposes please contact dave@baddave.co.uk with details of your specific request.

Comments

When visitors/customers leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service Privacy Policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

Who we share your data with

Bad Dave does not and will never sell or trade your personal information.

Some products are shipped direct from the printer, only in those instances would we share your name and address outside of Bad Dave, along with the relevant items of your order that they will be shipping to you.

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

For GDPR compliance, our target audience are adults (18 and over in the UK).

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
